TEACHING TIPS TO ACCOMPANY EXPERIENCING THE LIFESPAN

At a recent SRCD conference, several friends and colleagues were lamenting the budget cuts that seem ubiquitous these days, and we were expressing sorrow that many who teach lifespan development simply can’t get funded to attend national (or even local) conferences.

From that conversation grew the idea for a teaching tips booklet. My goal has been to gather the best classroom practices in the teaching of lifespan development from colleagues around the country and put them in one place, in a convenient format that allows for easy copying and dissemination. Most of the activities in this booklet involve worksheets, classroom or small-group discussions, or writing assignments. Below is the table of contents for the booklet.
