WHAT FACULTY SAYS ABOUT GRAY'S PSYCHOLOGY
I used Psychology last semester. It was the first time I taught the course - and I just wanted to let you know that it is a wonderful book. I loved the basic layout and style - especially the questions in the margins to check for understanding (and as useful exam and quiz questions). It looked good, was highly readable, user-friendly and not overdone with special features and special topics, which I think can be distracting and overwhelming. I also liked that it was challenging in terms of content - and that the tone was intellectual but also humane…
Thanks for a really great book - I enjoyed it so much and wish I could find similarly styled and well written books for my other courses!
-Eileen McBride, Emerson College
I would like to commend you on an absolutely brilliant introductory text. I have yet to find another one that is as well done as this. My students love it and I love teaching from it. Thank you for making my job teaching psychology a lot more fun!
-Michael A. Yassa, Irvine Valley College
I had the opportunity to use Psychology for my Honors Intro seminar several years ago. It is the most exciting intro text I've ever read.
-Robert Hoff, Mercyhurst College
After a long search for the perfect Intro Psych textbook, I found Psychology. It presented psychology the way I wanted to--a whole chapter on genes and evolution; biology and adaptation throughout; an amazing number of topics I'm interested in and like to cover. And it has a clean style, as opposed to the web-site-on-paper style so many have these days--including intrusive pop-up boxes for extra excitement. And one little practical aspect I really liked, was looking for, and rarely found: your 17 chapters are neatly--and meaningfully--divided into eight parts of two (or three) chapters each, so I can assign one part per week! I loved it.
Keep up the good work.

In my opinion, your book is far and away the smartest and most intellectually satisfying textbook on the market.
