How To Install the Q&A print Xtra (PrintOMatic) for use with Shockwave

When the Shockwave for Director plug-in launches, it automatically locates Xtras by looking in a special support folder. This folder must be located in one of the following places (depending on your browser and platform):

Macintosh (All browsers)
68K: Place the PrintOMatic Xtra in the "Xtras" folder within the "NP-68K-Dir-Shockwave Folder" contained in your Browser's "plug-in" folder.

PowerPC: Place the PrintOMatic Xtra in the "Xtras" folder within the "NP-PPC-Dir-Shockwave Folder" contained in your Browser's "plug-in" folder.

Windows (Netscape Navigator and compatible browsers)
3.1: The NP16DSW directory contained in your browser's "plug-in" directory.
95/NT: The NP32DSW directory contained in your browser's "plug-in" directory.

Windows (Microsoft Internet Explorer and other Windows browsers)

3.1: The WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
95/NT: The WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

To make the Q&A print function available to your browsers, copy the appropriate Xtra to the support folder for your browser. Macintosh users will first need to use StuffIt Expander (or similar utility) to extract the PrintOMatic Xtra since it is in MacBinary format (.bin). Your browser may do this automatically.
