The trucking game

In an effort to make the decision environment more realistic and more interesting, Morton Deutsch and Robert Krauss have devised a two-person activity that has come to be called the trucking game.

The game involves two truck drivers who are in competition for a limited resource: a one-lane shortcut.

The game operates in a non-zero-sum environment; some combinations of the choices available to the drivers will result in gains for both, while others will produce gains for only one, or losses for both.
