Introduction

This module attempts to simulate a conversation between a therapist and a client. The computer plays the role of the therapist and you play the role of the client.

The program is modeled after a famous program called ELIZA.

ELIZA was written by Professor Joseph Weizenbaum in the 1960s as a demonstration of the conversational ability of a cleverly programmed computer.
