Happiness

The facial movements associated with happiness are concentrated in the lower two-thirds of the face:

1. The brows and forehead are relaxed.

2. The cheeks are raised, producing wrinkles below the lower eyelids.

3. The corners of the lips are drawn back and slightly up, and a wrinkle runs from each side of the nose to the corner of the lips.

4. The intensity of the emotion is amplified if the lips are parted, exposing the teeth.
