Purpose of this module

This module examines the main types of descriptive statistics and gives you a chance to see how these statistics are affected by changes in the raw scores.

In this module you will have the opportunity to:

1. Examine the basic types of distributions of scores.

2. Examine the basic measures of central tendency and variability.

3. Create a distribution of scores and calculate the statistics.

4. Manipulate raw scores to see the effect on the statistics.
