EEG and dream reports

Now you are ready to try your hand as a sleep researcher.

On the next page you will see the simulated sleep cycle of a subject (a 20-year-old college student) who is spending the night in a sleep laboratory. You will be able to awaken the subject at any point in the night's sleep to check for the occurrence of a dream.

The sleep cycles for the entire night will be displayed in one window, while the EEG tracing for the current sleep stage will be presented in another window. To awaken the subject, simply click the "Wake Subject" button. To simplify things, after giving a dream report, your "perfect subject" will immediately return to the sleep stage that you interrupted.
