TROUBLESHOOTING:

Please Note: Make sure the plug-ins you need are installed for the appropriate browser. If you have Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer on the same computer you may have to run the plug-in installers twice; once for Navigator and once for Explorer. If, after installing the plug-in, you still can not view Shockwave or Flash content, and you have and internet connection, try the Virtual Technician at Macromedia's web site.

Problem: JavaScript errors appear when I am trying to navigate.
Solution:: This site has been optimized to run on Internet Explorer 4.0 and above. If you have a different browser or version, please upgrade your browser at either the Microsoft or Netscape Web sites.

Problem: The opening screen is not animated or an Error Message appears that reads, "This Page contains information of type 'application/x-unknown-content-type' that can only be viewed with the proper plug-in."
Solution:: Shockwave is not functioning properly. See instructions in the previous section for installation.

Problem: I can not load the shockwave interactives. I get a "broken" icon on certain pages.
Possible Solution:: Reinstall Shockwave. See the instructions at the top of this document for installation instructions.

Problem: I get an out of memory message when I try to load shockwave interactives.
Possible Solution:: Increase the memory of your browser. For the MacOS: 1) Quit the browser 2) Navigate in the Finder to the Application and highlight it by clicking once. Then press command-i. 3) In the info box, increase the preferred size by 1000k. 4) Close the info box and relaunch your browser. Repeat if necessary.

Problem: I cannot load the QuickTime videos. I get a broken icon when they try to load.
Possible Solution:: Reinstall the QuickTime plug-in. You can download the latest version of the plug-in from the Apple QuickTime site

Problem: I lose the first few seconds of a QuickTime movie.
Possible Solution:: Disable the "Play Movies Automatically" check box in your plug-in settings. Click on the lower right hand box of the QuickTime window. Select Plug-in settings. Deselect the Play Movies Automatically box.
