How does the CORE package work? The Core Text is a traditional textbook focusing on the core topics in economics.  It includes the usual textbook apparatus, including key terms and definitions.  It also includes a set of innovative end-of-chapter questions and problems, many of which have been drawn from today’s headlines and the business press. The CourseTutor is written by Jerry Stone and is designed to allow maximum practice, review, and to do so interactively.  Students can use the CourseTutor as practice, as in-class exercise, or as homework to be assigned.

There are 6 steps to the CourseTutor:
Step 1 Review of the chapter objective
Step 2 Review of the chapter vocabulary terms
Step 3 Tutorials for each section of the text that review the section, provide a quick quiz, and in most cases, provide a solved exercise for re-inforcement.
Step 4 Hints, tips, and reminders.
Step 5 Homeworks; 20 questions per chapter,  that can be assigned or used as additional practice. These are the only problems in the Course Tutor for which the student DO NOT have the answers.
Step 6 Exam Prep sections to be re-visited when studying.

The text and the CourseTutor have been designed to work together for maximum reinforcement and practice. Since both are written by the same author the integration is seamless, providing a highly efficient study system.
